A Complaint From a Parent, a Trustee or a Customer?
Water standing in the bays after every cold front. A pothole at the entrance. An uneven forecourt someone has already tripped on. Send us a photo of the site and tell us when it’s quiet.
Who we work for
Sites We Work On
-
Shops and Offices on Main Road
Customers park out front and deliveries come round the back. We plan the work so one of the two always works.
-
Churches and Halls
Busy on Sundays, and for funerals and weddings in the week. Give us the church calendar and we’ll work between bookings.
-
Schools and Crèches
Parents’ cars and children on foot meet at the gate twice a day. The work is booked for the holidays and the work area is fenced off.
-
Sectional-Title Complexes
Every owner drives over it, and nothing starts until the trustees have signed off. The quote is laid out for that meeting (see below).
-
Yards and Workshops
Hard-standing for vans and deliveries in Ottery and nearby.

Pavers or Tar for a Car Park?
Sources: Fonster 2026 (Western Cape); tarsurfaceprice.co.za Cape Town guide.
Our take: tar for a big car park where cost per m² rules. Pavers where the entrance has to look good, or where you’d rather lift and relay a bay than patch it. A mix works too: tar for the bays, pavers for the forecourt and paths. See tar surfacing.

Pavers for the traffic you actually get
Driveway-grade pavers are made for cars. Ask us what we’d lay where a refuse truck reverses in once a week: usually 80mm pavers on a deeper base.
Kerbs
Where the paving ends at a garden bed or the pavement, a kerb or concrete edge stops it creeping.
Where the rain goes
Water off a car park ends up somewhere: the street, a drain, or the neighbour. We set the falls so it’s one of the first two, with channel drains where needed.
Wheelchairs and prams
Bays near the door, with no kerb between them and the entrance.
Scheduling
Working Around Trading Hours, Services and Term Times
Tell us your quiet times: a Monday for a church, the school holidays, after closing for a shop. We plan the work into those and agree with you, day by day, which entrance stays usable. Weekend or after-hours work is priced as its own line.
For trustees and committees
A Quote Your Committee Can Approve
The quote is set out for a meeting: a one-page summary with the total, then each area with its size in m², the surface and a marked-up photo. It includes the dates and what stays open, and it reaches you within 24 hours of the site visit.

Questions
Commercial Paving FAQs
No. The work goes section by section, and we agree each day which entrance stays usable.
Yes, with the work area fenced off. Book early: holiday dates fill first.
Yes. Each area is priced separately in m², with photos and a programme, so it can go straight to a meeting.
Tar is usually cheaper per m² on large areas. Pavers look better at the entrance and repair more neatly. Many sites use both.
On paving, a different-coloured paver marks each bay, so nothing wears off. On tar, we paint the lines.
Yes: sunken bays, lifted paths and tar potholes. See paving repairs.
